AS Monaco and JL Bourg closed out Round 9 of the LNB season with the most exciting game of the week – and it ended in a surprising road win that reshapes the top of the standings.

JL Bourg edged Monaco 91-89, creating a four-way tie for first place. Strasbourg, Monaco, ASVEL, and Nanterre now all sit at 7-2, and Paris could join them if it wins its rescheduled game.

Elie Okobo poured in 28 points for Monaco, but it wasn’t enough for Vassilis Spanoulis’ squad.

Adam Mokoka (23 points, 14 rebounds) and Kevin Kokila (16 points, 14 rebounds) led the way for the visitors, who handed Monaco a rare home loss.
