Firefighters tackle kitchen fire in Darlington house

Fire crews were called to a reported kitchen blaze in Darlington this evening (Sunday, November 23).

Two crews from Darlington fire station responded to the call, made shortly before 5.30pm, and reached the scene in Hercules Street within minutes.

People from neighbouring houses had emerged onto the street to witness what was taking place.
