STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A Grammy Award-winning musician and Emmy Award-winning actor revealed he had a series of dangerous health issues in 2024, forcing him to cancel his tour.

Donald Glover, 42, revealed Saturday that he had a stroke the day of a concert in September 2024.

During a performance at Tyler, the Creator’s Camp Flog Gnaw music festival, Glover said this on Sunday, according to People : “I had a really bad pain in my head in Louisiana and I did the show anyway. I couldn’t really see well, so when we went to Houston I went to the hospital and the doctor was like, ‘You had a stroke.’”

The first thing he thought of, Glover said, was, “I’m letting everybody down.”
