CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. — Walden Avenue in Cheektowaga is closed both ways between Pine Ridge Road to Reo Avenue, reportedly due to a large police presence.

A spokesperson for the Cheektowaga Police Department has confirmed that a shooting occurred Sunday afternoon, and stressed that the department is very early on an investigation into the incident.
