MADISON, (WKOW) — The Boys and Girls Club of Dane County and Hilldale Shopping Center hosted holiday events Sunday as part of ongoing seasonal giving efforts.

Ethan Mars said the organization launched its annual Pay It Forward campaign, noting,

“Today, we’re here for our pay it forward campaign. It’s our holiday giving campaign.” He explained the group collected toys, coats and cash tips to support families, adding, “We try to meet those families where they are and give them the support they need during the holidays.”

Hilldale also held its North Pole Party. Marketing manager Amanda Stebbins said,

“Yeah, we’re here for our annual North Pole party at Hilldale. It’s kind of our kickoff to the holiday season here.”

She noted the event featured Santa, live reindeer, music, and toy collect
