The Future of 'Game of Thrones' Is Arya Stark

With HBO going hard on Game of Thrones in 2026 with the return of House of the Dragon and the premiere of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms , George R.R. Martin recently revealed that the spinoff machine is just getting started. However, instead of continuing to mine the past, Martin tipped his hand that the franchise will eventually start exploring what happened after the events of the flagship series. While a previous attempt at Jon Snow’s journey died on the runway, it looks like HBO and Martin finally realized the far more interesting character was in front of their faces the whole time: Arya Stark. - ( IGN )
