SCRANTON, Pa. — An event in Scranton was all about paying tribute to man's best friend.

LouiePalooza, held at Andy Gavin's Pub and Eatery, honored curly-haired pup Louie, who recently passed away.

Louie was known to warmly greet patrons and usually found napping on the floor of the pub.

"Louie made a lot of connections in this world, and they're all going to be here today celebrating that connection we have with our pets and animals," said Frank Regan, Louie's dad.

Proceeds from the event will benefit animal shelters around Scranton.
