HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - With Thanksgiving just days away, there’s still time to sign up for a tradition to work up your appetite for the holiday feast.

The 50th Turkey Trot takes place on Thursday from 7 to 11 a.m. at the Queen Kapiolani Park Bandstand.

The Honolulu Marathon Clinic said that over 1,300 people have already registered for the event from across Hawaii, the continental U.S., Korea, Japan, Great Britain, Germany, and Australia.

The multi-event fun-run features a race for runners of all ages and skills:

1-Mile Turkey Chase – Catch the turkey-costumed sprinter (Kapiolani Park)

5-Mile Run (Kapiolani Park to Fort Ruger Park, a.k.a., Triangle Park, and back)

5K “With Stuffing” (twice around Kapiolani Park, 5.8 kilometers, the extra 0.8K is the stuffing)
