MURRAY – Murray State University announced Sunday that the Murray Police Department is investigating an alleged assault that reportedly occurred at the Pi Kappa Alpha house early Saturday morning.
Murray State first issued a brief statement on Saturday acknowledging an off-campus incident that occurred at a private event, but limited information was available at that time. A follow-up warning was issued the next day.
“MSU Police has now received additional pertinent details, including preliminary suspect descriptions, and is issuing this Timely Warning to keep our community informed,” MSU said Sunday afternoon. “The incident occurred off campus and is actively being investigated by the Murray Police Department.”
