Police Say the Rider Was Ejected After Losing Control

Culver City authorities are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that occurred early Saturday, leaving one rider dead after losing control along a stretch of Washington Boulevard.

Police and fire crews were called to Washington Boulevard near Kensington Avenue around 1:15 a.m. on November 22 after a caller reported an unconscious person lying near the roadway. Responding officers found an adult motorcyclist in the parkway area between the sidewalk and the curb and began administering life-saving aid. The rider was taken to a nearby hospital, where they were pronounced dead, according to the Culver City Police Department.
