Traffic is building on the M5 in Gloucestershire due to a crash and an obstruction on the road. Reports of the incident first came in at around 7:55am today (November 23).

Roads and traffic monitoring website, Inrix, says: "Slow traffic due to obstruction on the road and accident on M5 Southbound from J9 A46 (Tewkesbury) to J10 A4019 (Cheltenham)."

It is not yet clear how many vehicles were involved in the collision or whether anyone has been injured as a result.
