Strictly Come Dancing's Shirley Ballas has revealed she almost died after choking on her food on Saturday night - just minutes before she was due on stage to lead the judging.
The 65-year-old was left struggling to breathe for 20 minutes as she got a fish bone lodged in her throat.
Shirley revealed she only survived the 'terrifying' incident thanks to her make up artist Jane Burstow, who used the Heimlich manoeuvre to dislodge the bone.
She said it happened just 30 minutes before the hit BBC show went live for its special from the Blackpool Tower Ballroom and that she almost hadn't made it to the stage.
