The murder trial of Brian Walshe has gotten underway, with a jury empaneled and testimony expected to begin on Dec. 1.

Walshe is accused of killing his wife, Ana, and dismembering her body on New Year's Day 2023. In the days and weeks that followed, police launched a massive search across eastern Massachusetts in hopes of recovering any sign of the mother of three.
