A 95-year-old woman died and another woman and a child were injured in a Queens house fire Sunday morning, the FDNY said.
A 911 call shortly before 8 a.m. sent the FDNY to the home in St. Albans, Queens, according to the fire department.
Inside the home, firefighters found a 6-year-old girl, a 68-year-old woman and the 95-year-old woman, all unconscious.
The two women were taken to Long Island Jewish Valley Stream Hospital, where the 95-year-old was pronounced dead, according to the NYPD. The 68-year-old victim was in stable condition Sunday afternoon.
The child was brought to Cohen’s Children Medical Center, where she was in critical condition, the NYPD said.
