Police are urging residents in Gloucester to be vigilant after a series of burglaries this month

The force has revealed there have been 12 break-ins reported across the Matson and Abbeydale areas over just the last three weeks.

Officers are investigating whether the crimes are linked and are asking anyone with information to come forward.

They would also like to talk to anyone who believes they have relevant CCTV, ring doorbell or dashcam footage, and who has not already spoken to police, to get in touch.

The burglaries happened in the following roads: Stonechat, Grebe Close, Drayton Way, Kinmoor, Winnycroft Lane, Redwell Road, Haycroft Drive and St Peter’s Road.
