Traffic delays expected from East Lyme water main break

EAST LYME, CT (WFSB) - A water main break is expected to cause traffic delays in East Lyme.

Public safety officials on Monday morning said the break is in the area of 145 Chesterfield Road.

It was reported around 7 a.m.

“Please plan for possible traffic delays in this area or use an alternate route,” officials posted to social media. “Services will be restored as soon as repairs are complete.”

There was no word on what caused the break or if any properties were impacted.
