Attorney General Kris Mayes' prosecution of aides and allies of Donald Trump who tried to interfere in the 2020 election is in the hands of the Arizona Supreme Court.
Mayes' office said Nov. 21 it would ask the state's top court to reconsider an earlier decision sending the criminal case back to a grand jury. That would amount to a do-over of the high-profile prosecution alleging President Trump and his aides urged states to send false slates of electors to Congress to keep Trump in power in 2020, though voters elected Democrat Joe Biden.
