A man has been found dead on a popular coast path in Cornwall.

The incident sparked a major emergency service response in the area, as police and ambulance crews were seen along the coast path with coastguard crews at the scene and RNLI crews on the water.

Devon and Cornwall Police were called to the area near Mousehole at around 2pm on Saturday, November 22. They initially received a "concern for welfare" report but arrived to find the man, in his 70s, from Margate, deceased at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.
