FORT MILL, S.C. — A person was shot and killed in Fort Mill Sunday night, according to York County Sheriff's Office.

28-year-old Damien Crandell was shot three times and pronounced dead on the scene by EMS.

A deputy responded to a call at the Lakeview Apartments on Flint Hill Road around 9:15 p.m. Upon arrival, Deputy Brayden Kessinger made contact with the suspected shooter, called him outside then arrested him.

A person of interest is in custody but has not been charged.
