Reggae music legend Jimmy Cliff has died at the age of 81. Tributes have been pouring in for the star, who had been performing since the 1960s.
He is best known for hits such as Wonderful World, Beautiful People and You Can Get It If You Really Want. Cliff was credited for bringing Reggae to an international audience and also appeared in the the 1972 crime drama The Harder They Come, considered a cornerstone of Jamaican cinema.
Cliff's wife, Latifa Chambers, announced his death via a statement on Instagram.
She wrote: "It's with profound sadness that I share that my husband, Jimmy Cliff, has crossed over due to a seizure followed by pneumonia.
"I am thankful for his family, friends, fellow artists and coworkers who have shared his journey with him.
