Concertgoers have been warned after a "high number" of mobile phones were reported stolen following a gig in Newcastle . Paul Blackbourn said he was among a large group of people who were left searching for their phone at the end of The Offspring concert at Newcastle's Utilita Arena on November 15.

But when he accessed the 'Find my iPhone' feature from his brother's phone he discovered that his brand new iPhone 17 Pro Max, which cost him £1,400, was last tracked outside the arena 20 minutes earlier before being switched off. He has now reported the phone as stolen to police.
