Danny Mac has spoken out on his Strictly Come Dancing return after fans said he 'really proved' fans' complaint about his last appearance in the ballroom

The Hollyoaks actor was among the popular programme's legendary alumni who returned for a special performance to help celebrate this year's Blackpool special, which once again took place in the seaside town's famous Tower Ballroom.

Danny, who is best known for playing Dodger Savage in the Channel 4 soap, took part in the BBC One dance contest in 2016, making it to the final alongside former Strictly pro, Oti Mabuse, and returned to the dance floor alongside fellow former finalists Ashely Roberts and Layton Williams, and 2025 winner Jay McGuiness.
