A young Scots girl has climbed the UK's tallest mountain in a snowstorm to raise funds for the hospital which saved her cousin and friend's lives. ‌

Faye Moffat, 5, set off to scale Ben Nevis at 7am on Saturday, alongside dad, Craig, to raise money for the Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity - which helped save her cousin Owen and friend Lucy's lives. ‌

The pair reached the peak of Ben Nevis at 3pm, before a long descent back to their camp in a journey which took 10 hours much of which in heavy rain and using headtorches to navigate through the dark.
