PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Travelers at Sky Harbor International Airport reported smooth conditions Monday morning despite earlier concerns about potential disruptions that could have happened if the recent government shutdown continued to drag on.
Bobby Kramer, who lives in Cave Creek, said he was a little worried about flying during Thanksgiving week if the shutdown was still going on so he bought travel insurance for the first time.
Kramer was happy when he got to the airport Monday morning and didn’t have any issues. “Get up early, beat the traffic, highway was clear, easy to park, that’s the most parking spots I’ve ever seen in the east economy lot,” Kramer said.
