Motorists are being prepared for potential price hikes at petrol stations, with Chancellor Rachel Reeves possibly set to abolish a key rule. There are concerns that a 5p reduction in fuel duty, which has been in effect since 2022, could be eliminated in the Budget on Wednesday.
