The Sex Pistols are set to perform at the Scarborough Open Air Theatre next year.

The punk legends, featuring original members Steve Jones, Paul Cook, and Glen Matlock, will join frontman Frank Carter on August 2 as part of a celebration of 50 years of punk.

The Stranglers and The Undertones are also confirmed as special guests for the night.

Tickets for the event, sponsored by TK Maxx, are available from 10am on Friday.

Hailed as one of the most influential rock bands from this country, the Sex Pistols have had a successful 2025, performing at various venues worldwide, including the Royal Albert Hall.

Frank Carter, formerly of Gallows and Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, joined the band in 2024 and has received praise for his energy and the new life he has brought to the band's music
