MORTON ( 25News Now ) - The State Fire Marshal’s Office has been called to investigate a fire that caused an estimated $100,000 damage to a Morton business.
A passerby called the fire department about 5:15 p.m. Sunday after seeing smoke inside Great Harvest Bread Co. in the 600 block of West Jackson Street.
Great Harvest was closed on Sunday, according to its website.
No injuries were reported, and Morton Fire Chief Justin Hale said the fire caused an undetermined amount of damage.
The fire was out in about 15 minutes. Hale said it appears the fire was not intentionally set, but he provided no other details.
