CLEVELAND, Ohio — The state’s Mr. Basketball returns, as do some players within Northeast Ohio that could challenge him for that honor.
Marcus Johnson looks to become Ohio’s first back-to-back Mr. Basketball since Luke Kennard of Franklin in 2014 and ’15. However, Brunswick senior point guard Trey Drexler was a finalist for that award. Drexler and Lutheran East sophomore Dylan Zeigler, who already holds comparable scholarship offers, also could have a season that puts him in the discussion.
