Monday, the Ontario Hockey League’s Brantford Bulldogs finalized their second blockbuster trade of the season when it was announced they had acquired Luchanko, a London native, from the Guelph Storm. Article content Article content
In exchange for Luchanko, the Bulldogs are sending Layne Gallacher, a pair of second-round picks (2027 Kitchener, 2028 Sudbury), a third-round pick (2029 Brantford) and a fifth (2029 Brampton) to the Storm.
“We’re thrilled,” Hyman said while talking about bringing Luchanko to Brantford. “Jett Luchanko has been a primary target for us for a long time . . . so we’re very excited.”
