NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - A new report has found which cities deal with the worst holiday traffic across the U.S.

The report, from ConsumerAffairs, found which cities see the biggest surge in traffic by analyzing traffic volume, congestion and fatal crashes.

“Most of the cities that rank among the top 10 for worst holiday traffic also rank in the top half of states for fatal crashes,” the report said.

The report found two Tennessee cities made it on the list for the worst holiday traffic:

Nashville, No. 9

Total congested hours: 2 hours and 42 minutes

Holiday traffic surge: 11.25%

Memphis, No. 10

Total congested hours: 2 hours and 4 minutes

Holiday traffic surge: 11.25%
