PIERRE, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - The South Dakota Division of Criminal Investigation is investigating a shooting in Iroquois that left one injured and one in police custody.

The incident arose when Ace Bordeaux, 40, of Iroquois, reportedly shot another man in the evening hours of Saturday, Nov. 22.

Bordeaux was arrested for Aggravated Assault and Possession of a Firearm While Intoxicated.

The 47-year-old victim had gunshot wounds and was taken to the Huron hospital. He is listed as in serious, but stable, condition.

The DCI is continuing to investigate the incident; the Kingsbury State Attorney’s Office will prosecute the case.

The name of the victim has not been released.
