BEMIDJI — Beltrami County has decommissioned its CodeRED by OnSolve Emergency Notification System due to a cyber attack and data breach at the vendor level.
No other Beltrami County infrastructure has been impacted by the cyber attack, according to a release from Christopher Muller, emergency management director and public information officer.
Data compromised may include contact groups built by alerting authorities, phone numbers, addresses, emails, usernames and passwords for accounts.
"If you created an account with CodeRED by OnSolve and used a similar username and password for other applications, you should change your passwords," Muller said in the release. "If you receive any alerts or messages from CodeRED on behalf of Beltrami County, terminate the communication."
