Our unseasonably warm weather pattern is about to come to an end. A frontal system is heading our way with rain and storms ahead and along it. Once the front passes, we’re trending much cooler.
Showers and t-storms will move into West Alabama early Tuesday morning and work their way eastward through the day. Some of the storms could be strong to possibly severe. The main threats will be damaging wind gust up to 60 mph, hail one inch in diameter, and possibly a few brief tornadoes. There will be periods of showers and t-storms through the day but the last of the storm activity exits our area around midnight.
We return to a sunny and dry weather pattern Wednesday. Temps will start out in the mid to upper 50s and still manage upper 60s for highs. Colder air will spill into the state
