A long tradition of giving away turkeys in Wilmington continues - this year, with a last-minute push.
People living in Wilmington's senior citizen high-rises as well as families in need will get to enjoy a turkey for Thanksgiving, thanks to a giveaway that was pulled together in just two weeks. It came about through the efforts of City Council members and other elected officials and partners, as well as volunteers.
