Two people were hurt in a rollover crash Monday morning, December 1, 2025, near Newark.

New Castle County paramedics and Aetna Hose, Hook and Ladder firefighters responded to Capitol Trail (Route 2) and Possum Park Road at 6:45 a.m. and found one of two vehicles involved on its side.

New Castle County EMS officials said a 53-year old woman and a 43-year old man were taken to Christiana Hospital in stable condition.

There were reports of icing conditions along the roadway which resulted in the dispatch of a Delaware Department of Transportation (DedlDOT) brine truck to the scene.
