WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - With Thanksgiving just three days away, grocery stores across Kansas are bustling with shoppers making final preparations for the holiday meal.

At the Dillons location at Central and Rock Road, shoppers found crowded aisles but well-stocked shelves on Monday. Kenny Wilson, shopping for his family’s entire Thanksgiving week groceries, said he was initially concerned about finding everything on his list.

“Normally we would’ve had it done last week, running a little behind this year... kind of worried about everything being here,” Wilson said.

Wilson’s shopping list included potatoes, bread for stuffing, and ingredients for three or four pies his wife plans to make. Despite his concerns about crowds and picked-over shelves, he found items like cranberries fully stock
