With rent prices up and vacancy rates low across the city, New Yorkers are feeling the effects of a looming housing crisis.

To help combat this problem, two teenagers launched “Realer Estate,” a website that combines public data with real estate listings, allowing users to search for below-market and rent-stabilized apartments — something the adults running the city have never managed to do.

Beckett Zahedi and Derrick Webster Jr., co-founders of “Realer Estate,” joined “The Rush Hour” on Monday to talk about the website.
