Kayce Dutton did the unthinkable in the Yellowstone finale . He buried his father , sold the ranch, and told his family that he was moving on for good. However, some things are easier than done. After leaving Yellowstone behind, Luke Grimes will reprise his role as Kayce in the upcoming CBS drama, Y: Marshals .

In the solo Yellowstone spin-off series, Kayce Dutton will lead a new task force in Montana aimed at preventing violence and lawlessness in cowboy country. Gil Birmingham and Mo Brings Plenty are set to reprise their roles as Thomas Rainwater and Mo, respectively. There’s no word yet on Kayce’s wife Monica (Kelsey Asbille). Brecken Merill will also return as his son, Tate. They’re joined by Kayce’s new teammates, played by Logan Marshall-Green ( And Just Like That.
