LUFKIN, Texas (KLTV) - A tree made of tires is not as out of place as it may sound as it sits amidst over 160 uniquely themed Christmas trees on display for the Lufkin’s annual Festival of Trees.
Businesses, organizations, and even artists got creative, with themes including a Whataburger tree, a Zebra Bars tree, and even one decorated with artwork of mice posing with food.
A scavenger hunt amongst the ornaments for both adults and children has also been incorporated.
East Texans are encouraged to tour the rooms at the Museum of East Texas, packed with the oddly decorated Christmas staples, from 10 a.m. through 5 p.m. until Jan. 16.
