GULFPORT, Miss. (WLOX) - A shakeup is happening in the Mississippi vaping industry. Lost Mary and Raz, two popular disposable vapes, will soon be illegal — and they aren’t the only ones.

A 60-day grace period began in October, and the clock is ticking until enforcement starts on December 1. It bans products that are not manufactured by the current FDA-authorized e-cigarette manufacturers.

“It’s not too much of an impact for us,” Vaporized Owner Bill Wikstrom said.

The new law requires a registry of all vape products sold in the state.

Wikstrom is the owner of Vaporized and the manufacturer of Paradigm. He says most of his products already fall within the guidelines of the registry and are under review for FDA authorization.
