GRAND FORKS – GFHive Management LLC, the GrandSky branch managing the HIVE building in Grand Forks, presented its first management report to members of the Grand Forks City Council on Monday, mainly discussing two tenants that owe several thousand dollars in unpaid rent.

Thomas Swoyer, president of GrandSky, explained to council members during the Job Development Authority meeting preceding the Committee of the Whole work session that building tenants Meadowlark Aircraft Company and Thread, a software development company, both have rent in arrears, with Meadowlark owing approximately $18,000 and Thread owing over $4,000.

“Because Meadowlark and Thread are both in arrears, we recommend termination of their leases immediately,” Swoyer said.
