IRON MOUNTAIN — Michigan State University Extension will offer a Foundations of Gardening — FOG — course for those who wish to apply to the Master Gardener Program and those seeking horticultural training for personal reasons.

Classes begin Feb. 5 and goes through April 16 with a practice session.

Registration for the FOG winter session opens on Dec. 2 and runs through Jan. 28.

They are currently accepting scholarship applications. Scholarships cover $150 of the tuition cost. Applications are available on the FOG website at www.canr.msu.edu/courses/foundations-of-gardening.
