The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints calls it a “vending machine in reverse,” and it has become a powerful too worldwide for raising millions charity.

Called a Giving Machine, it made its debut in Queen Creek Nov. 19 as church, civic and community leaders gathered to welcome its arrival at the Pecan Lake Entertainment Center, 25004 S. 206th Street, where it will be available to donors through the end of the year.

Part of the church’s Christmas initiative called Light The World that began in 2017, Giving Machines introduce a novel and fun way to help needy people literally around the world but in the Valley as well.
