The Franke Center for the Arts has kicked off its annual fundraising campaign to sustain programs that bring music, theater and arts education to Marshall and surrounding communities, according to a community announcement.

For more than 20 years, the nonprofit has been a cultural hub, hosting concerts, film festivals and youth theater productions. In the past year, the center produced 15 concerts spanning multiple genres and cultural events such as the Wolf Tree Film Festival. Its Expert Artist Program places poets in Marshall and Battle Creek schools, offering creative curriculum for middle school students.
