LAUREL — The South Central Health Care Foundation will hold its second annual Teddy Bear Tea on Saturday, offering a festive family event aimed at supporting upgrades to maternal, child and pediatric services.
The ticketed fundraiser is open to all children in the community, though each child must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets are $40 per person or $250 for a table that seats eight.
The event will include photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus, hot cocoa and “reindeer food” stations, and a commemorative foundation teddy bear for every child.
Proceeds will benefit the foundation’s Maternal Child and Pediatrics Renovation Capital Campaign.
The Teddy Bear Tea is scheduled for 11 a.m. on Nov. 29 at South Central Place, located at 2260 Highway 15 North in Laurel.
