Derek Johnson has been jailed for 15 years for child sex offences

A Gloucestershire man who manipulated and groomed a number of young teenage girls online before travelling long distances to then sexually abuse them has been jailed.

Derek Johnson, 59, from Gloucestershire, appeared at Gloucester Crown Court after he admitted 16 sex offences relating to children aged between 13 and 16.

The court heard that Johnson set rules for the children, and would punish them if they did not comply with what he demanded.

He would also film himself sexually abusing them, and groomed them into sending him videos of things he had asked them to do.
