A man has died after crashing his car into a tree in Cheltenham.
Police said the man, who was in his 40s, was driving a grey BMW 3 Series estate which left the road and hit a tree in Hawling.
The incident happened close to the A436 at around 11:40am on Sunday, October 26.
The driver was taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol with serious injuries but never recovered and died on Friday, November 14.
The man's next of kin and the coroner have been informed and his family continue to be supported by specialist officers, said Gloucestershire Constabulary.
The police are asking to hear from anyone who witnessed the BMW before the crash or who has dashcam footage which they believe to be relevant to come forward.
