Divided into three parts, the first four episodes of the season, which has an explosive trailer, will be released on 26 November, followed by the next three episodes on Christmas Day and the grand finale on New Year's Eve.

This festive release schedule has sparked speculation among fans about whether the last season will have a Christmas theme. The Duffer Brothers shared their thoughts with Radio Times.
