A woman is critically ill in hospital following a horrifying assault where it's suspected she was doused in petrol and set on fire. The incident happened at the base of a property in Dublin.

The victim was rushed to hospital with severe burns after the shocking daylight attack occurred at a residence in Oak Downs, Clondalkin, this morning (November 25). She has been admitted to Tallaght Hospital, where her condition is reported as serious.
