OKLAHOMA CITY — Students and staff at Francis Tuttle Technology Center teamed up with volunteers from the Homeless Alliance last week to prepare Thanksgiving turkeys for those in need.

Continuing an annual tradition, participants worked in the Culinary Lab kitchens at Francis Tuttle’s Rockwell Campus to prepare, cook and carve dozens of turkeys ahead of the Homeless Alliance’s Thanksgiving dinner. The meal, served the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, provides a holiday meal to individuals who might otherwise go without.

Chef Anna Banda, Francis Tuttle culinary instructor, guided both students and volunteers through the process. Culinary students assisted alongside community volunteers, helping to ensure the turkeys were ready for the dinner.
